Annotate a sample result with scope, observation time and the unanswered questions.

Start with a bounded sentence

A useful proof review lets someone else understand the claim without trusting the author's confidence. Begin with a sentence naming the selected scope, the declared checks and the observation. For this exercise, write about a synthetic Sales result. Do not invent a current live pass or borrow the historical walkthrough's observations as though you produced them yourself.

Your goal is a one-page explanation, not a new qualification. You need no live tenant. Use the concepts from the previous lessons to separate the engineering artifacts, the observed results and the human decisions. A reviewer should be able to follow the explanation to the evidence categories that would be required in a real retained project.

Describe what was selected

Record the entry boundary and the boundaries actually claimed. Identify the scenario catalogue and independently established expectations. State the observation time available in the selected result, and retain any freshness limitation. Avoid writing “current” merely because a file is the newest one in a folder. Current evidence depends on bindings and selected receipts, not the reassuring appearance of a filename.

Next, identify actual results. A producer emits a structured step result; only the ledger records the receipt. A receipt binds declared inputs, outputs and upstream evidence. A gate recomputes required comparisons rather than merely repeating the producer's success flag. Explain that chain in your own words so a colleague knows where to inspect a mismatch.

List missing and changed evidence

Suppose your synthetic packet contains generated model definitions but no current serving query. Record the model artifact as present and the semantic observation as missing. If a report image exists, explain which state it depicts; do not use it to replace an independent query comparison. If a dependency changed, identify the resulting stale claim rather than choosing a convenient earlier success.

Qualification remains scoped. Existing-asset admission can support a bounded entry without proving every upstream layer. Rendered-value verification covers declared observations, not every label or user interaction. Business interpretation remains a human responsibility. These are useful limitations because they tell the next engineer which evidence is required before expanding the claim.

Keep trust and acceptance separate

A local signature can authenticate a selected subject against independently supplied public trust. An exported attestation contains bounded metadata and keyed commitments rather than private business values. Hosted verifies that projection and can return a separately signed acknowledgement. Hosted does not receive enough information to rerun the source comparison. Mark each of these steps performed or unperformed in the worksheet.

Human review has another role. Grain ratification confirms the intended business meaning. Business acceptance records whether the result serves the agreed purpose. Neither follows automatically from course completion, a signed gate or a paid service. The Academy's professional certification pathway is planned, and a reporting certificate would be a separate authorised process.

Completion check

Read your one-page review aloud. Replace broad phrases such as “the report is proven” with the exact declared comparison. Name one missing observation and its owner. Explain how a changed dependency would affect the review, then state whether signing, Hosted acknowledgement and human acceptance were actually performed. You are ready for the Sales lab when another practitioner can use your review to distinguish a completed artifact from a supported qualification claim.
